Leicester City reserves narrowly lost 1-0 yesterday away to a strong Wolverhampton Wanderers reserve side.
Reserve team boss,

Chris Powell, was pleased with the way his young side competed and felt that they were unlucky to end up losing, having created a raft of chances, without finding the finishing touch that their play deserved.
Powell said: "We started very brightly and I was impressed with the way we matched up to Wolves and showed that we could compete with them.
"Their side included the likes of Jody Craddock, Karl Henry and Greg Halford amongst others, so they had plenty of experience running through the team.

"We adopted a first-class attitude throughout and there were good performances from youngsters like Jeff Schlupp and Oliver Norburn.

Unfortunately, as a team, we were unable to convert any of the chances we created, but I am encouraged by the way we played."

So the rumour about Brandy wasn't true. Also, it's disappointing to see that Waghorn's been dropped to the ressies and that he's not scoring when he's there either...

Good to see Mee's made a solid start to his loan here too!

The Mockery report that all 3 forwards (same type of 3 sum as 1st XI) missed chances which does not bode well if the 1st choice players don't hit the target.

Also Berner has competition for left-back as expected - Mee playing there so we may see him there at Preston.

City included new signing Ben Mee at left-back. The 21-year-old defender is on loan from Manchester City until the end of the season.
