Working for the revenue

I go back to Edinburgh tomorrow for just 2 weeks till I officially leave.

I'm looking into moving to the other side. Anyone work for the revenue and could shed some light on how I go about finding information and possibly working for the revenue Also the career prospects

I have a mate who is one. He reckons it is easy to get promoted beyond your ability - which I find reassuring in a lot of ways.
