Wright Signs?
Story by Andy Beill
24 May 2005

The Tigers are reported to have signed Leicester City forward Tommy Wright.

Coventry City Mad reports that 20-year-old Wright has turned down the Sky Blues in order to join Hull City.

Wright joined Leicester's Academy while Peter Taylor was the Foxes boss, but didn't make his debut until after Taylor parted company with the club.

The 6ft striker has only made a handful of starts for the club, with most of his chances coming from the bench. He also went on loan to Brentford in 2003/04, and has represented England at Under-18 and Under-19 levels.

The rumours are unconfirmed at the moment.

If that's the kind of player Taylor is setting his sights on I don't think we have to worry about them next season.

I'm going to worry about everyone next season...

It is just a shame Taylor isnt as willing to spend copius amounts of cash on our crap as he was on spending it on everybody else's whilst manager here.

Foxestalk will be having a right fookin moan firstly Dawson and now Wright being allowed to move on they will be livid.

Anyone think PT will wuss out of the trip to the Walkers?
