Not really to fussed to be honest, haven't really used much space on the hard drive, still got about 10GB free so definitely don't need another 100GB! Not too arsed about the extra output thingys as I'm still playing on standard CRT televisions and got the component cable anyway if I ever did get a HD TV.

What you like about the Elite so much then dd?

i duno its just you buy the 360 expecting it to be the standard for the next 3-4 years and then within a year its downgraded

Yeah I see where your coming from, although it does seem that if it does get released then it will be rather more expensive that the current Premium 360 and to be honest I don't believe it is worth the extra £70 (rumoured to be £350). If it was that expensive then it would be more worthwhile purchasing a Playstation3 as you have the added extra of a Blu-Ray player.

All console have slight modifications during their life span.

Slimline/Sliver PS2 came with network adapter already included.

The only difference is that is has a HDMI port which I think at the time of the 360s release was not available.

They are releasing IPTV in the states which is how MS see the future, online TV, films and so on, which the HDMI port would be more benifical for.

The HDD can be bought seperatley as there are new SKU codes which means it will be released its all been on IGN for a while.
