If this is true, it's an intruiging bit of news. Our midfield is pretty strong at the moment IMO, and if Wesolowski is thought of as first choice at the age of 17 then he must be a genuine talent.
Being so far from home, it's not easy to judge - a couple of years ago a few people were waxing lyrical about Tommy Wright, but he never impressed me when I saw him. Weso's potential had been noted but I didn't get the impression he was so close to the first team and was thought of as highly as that.
I'm also a bit confused - I'm sure he used to play on the left of midfield for the yutes a season or two ago. And now the defensive midfielders and attacking midfielders are all worrying about losing their places. So.... what's his best position?
On an interesting note though Tim Davies said Weso was going to be the first choice central midfielder before his injury, ahead of Gudjonsson and Kisnorbo, also Williams and Hughes were worried about their places because of him as well. Poor lad, but Tim did say Weso should be back around Christmas time which is excellent news if all goes well.
