Does anyone think CL will play any of our Youngster,s on sunday now that we are safe:?: I think it would be a good idea to put one or two on the bench and maybe give them a run out just to see how they would handle a game in the first team. That way if they perform CL might not need to bring as many new players in over the summer. :-)

Youngsters

If he doesnt try them now he never will! I think Dawson and maybe Sheehan should be given a chance. I would imagine CL will be absent (he has said he may miss a couple of games to look at possible transfer targets).

I hope O'Grady, Dawson, Weslowski(sp? :? ), Porter and a few others get a go. :D  ;-)

I think that 2, at most 3 will start, with possibly 2 on the bench..

Even though he'll want to try out some of the younger players, he'll still want to win these games. Plus playing too many of the youngsters together would probably be less beneficial for them than mixing in a couple with the normal first team.

I don't really know much about our younger players, only what I read on here and the other sites, so I'm not sure who will get the oppurtunity. I'd like to see Dodds get a shot since he seems to be scoring a fair few for the reserves, but seeing as he seems to have been on the bench for them a bit lately, I doubt he'll be getting a first team chance yet.

Will be fascinating to see who he plays in the next two games

Now we are safe, there is little merit in playing people who we are intending to let go in the summer. There's no poin t in doing that at all - and we can only realistically move up the league by one or two places at best, so results count for shit

So will we see Dabizas, Gillespie, Heath, Nalis or Dublin - or even Walker ?

There is huge merit in playing the best team for me. I have a £50 bet witha mate made at the beginning of the season that Leicester would finsh above Leeds and 2 more wins may just do it. :?

Absolutley agree homer. Will be really interesting to see who plays on Sunday. I can't see any of the names you mention starting with the exception of Dublin and Walker.

I agree - although Walker will only play because we haven't got a back up keeper (that will be here next year)

Agreed. When you think about it though, there are other names to add that are far from gauranteed to be here next season. Gudjonsson for one. I hope to see Dawson, Sheehan, Stearman (may not see him as CL knows he has got it) and O'Grady.

I just cant see it though, I'd be less suprised is Greek Boy and Gemill are rolling on to the pitch at 13:30.

Gudjonsson's still contracted though, so he if he wants to get rid he might play him and hope he has a good game while the scouts are watching

Agreed but so is Heath. I think CL has a massive clearout in mind personally.

I think Stefan Moore will start on Sunday, or what was the point in bringing him here if he isn't going to get a chance. Can't see DC being overly happy about it if it's him that has to step down though. Remembering the whole Neil Mellor incident.

I decide to view this site and the last post was "durham fox in youngsters"
 beastly and horrid

might play moore and connolly together especially if cl is thinking of keeping moore might want to see how they do together. if cl is planning a major clearout whos to say next season isnt going to be the same as this

The first proper football conversation we've had on here for a while, and this is what we get from a so-called moderator. Typical

Didn't I see you on telly last night, Lazzer ?

Channel 4, nine o'clock ??
