Youngsters weve released

We seem to have a good recent record of knowing when and who to release. I cant think of any recently that have come good or come back to haunt us.

And i can think of a few that we were told were going to be gems eg Ashton, Stevenson, Priet, Petrescue, Price, Dudfield, Delaney, Ellison, Campbell, Wilson and many more.

With all due respect, most of these have made an impact in the lower league. I saw Delaney over Xmas and Neil Roberts was far too good. Robbo was signed from Wigan, so you get my point. Ellison has done ok for Stockport, Lincoln and Chester. Nuff said?

They might have made an impact in the lower leagues but we dont actually play at that level......yet. These players have proved they were not good enough to stay at City therefore vindicating the decision to release them.

and he was a good hopeful i dont understand what all the fuss about was though when he was never given a chance and hardly played in the resys.

give it a few years and i think he will be back partnering wayne rooney at chelsea
