Feedback from the 90 minutes fan meeting at the club - topic this month - Season Tickets
* Anything discussed in the meeting is OK to feed back to our social medias so that was nice to see. Transparency all the way
* There will be a new LCFC Direct website hopefully around mid June.
* The club is currently pulling together leaflets for the new ST campaign for the season 17/18. Discussion were around wether they need to send this out via post or put up on the website and other media outlets i.e. Leicester Mercury. The leaflet will contain all the information for pricing etc for next season. Most Sts will initially get emails about renewing, but they may well look at sending out the leaflet to over 65s who may not have access or able to use the internet. They will also make them available in the club shop.
* We are likely to NOT get new ST cards next year so hang onto yours at the end of the last game. This will be clarified in due course.
* There was a concern over people booking coach and match tickets together and them coming in two envelopes and also being allocated different buses for friends/family that had booked together for the match. If the later is an issue then the club can sort this out via a phone call. These issues will hopefully be rectified on the new website.
* Next Sts are likely to include 1 home cup tie. No news on pricing as of yet.
* The club have to make 5% of the ground avaialbe to non STs. Hence the member system currently in place.
* No plans on extending the ground at present. This will only become an option as we settle into the PL and demand outways capacity on a regular basis. There is absolutely no discussions on moving location
* Instead of the current 10% discount from the club shop for STs, they are likely to be introducing a loyalty points system. A little bit like Tescos. For instance, what you spend at the club, or even in the burger bar in the ground etc, you will earn points. Points will then match monetary or discounts to be taken via the club. This was seen to be a positive move, and we are actually only one of a few club left that use a 10% discount scheme.
* The club are looking at re-introducing birthday awards - i.e. sending vouchers or discounts etc out to STs on their birthdays.
* Nothing to do with STs but the topic of merchandise outside of the club shop being sold was brought up. It is illegal to sell LCFC merchant from anywhere other than the LCFC sites. However, USA Amazon will be stocking merchandise from the club fairly soon for our fans over there.
* DO NOT give out your ST member number. There has been several cases of fraud committed against people that have done this. If you give out your number you are also giving out your name, address, telephone number etc.
* The club are considering away points on the actual games i.e. going to Man U would be 1 point, but going to Burnley on a Tuesday night could be 3 points. I think this is an excellent idea.
* Empty seats at the ground - sometimes corporate send tickets back as late as Friday before a game. If you are struggling for a ticket ring the office Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Even if the game is a sell out.
* The club are going to clamp down on re-sale of tickets for home and away. They will monitor websites and social media. There is an obvious few that have high priority points that do not attend many games, but sell on their tickets. Big brother is watching you so be warned.
* The club will look into a ticket swap/sale for STs that cannot get to matches. i.e. you are on holiday and you can sell that seat back to the club and they can re-sell. This will all be done via the online system. Other clubs currently use this system to ensure bums on seats.
* New Sts will be given to Gold Members again but maybe do a point system instead of a ballot
*Seville information should be out by the end of the week. It is UNRESERVED seating so do not worry about getting tickets near your mates. It will be a free for all.
Thats the main bits I think. Oh apart from the fact that 71 Sts were not renewed last year because they had passed away. That was a shock. Bless them all.
