I've never heard of this bloke before but I have got to say that there is a little more than irony in the fact that the Portugusese/Brazilian word for 'seal' is 'foca'. Pronounce it slightly differently and you have exactly the word that all of his opponents and at least some of his team-mates would use to describe him. (See another clip where a more mature team-mate drags him away from a situation which his antics have just caused and lectures him).

If you search far enough, you will see various shit-brick no.5's and no.6's go for the ball with their feet.

There is a reason he plays in the ressies of his Brazilian team and Dunga, the Brazilian coach told him to stop doing it. He doesn't do it when his team are 4-0 up, he does it at 1-1. Hence much Brazilians disliking his 'fad'.
