Saturday 5th 15:00 Swansea City v Leicester
Monday 14th 20:00 Leicester v Chelsea
Saturday 19th 15:00 Everton v Leicester
Saturday 26th 15:00 Liverpool v Leicester
Tuesday 29th 19:45 Leicester v Manchester City

By the end of December we should know how good we really are.

Are we top because we've only played one good team so far - and have been consistent against average and poor teams? Or are we genuine contenders for a top four place?

On paper they all look like tough games.

Manchester United's success this season has been based on their defensive record. Only nine goals conceded. But we're the top scorers - and we put five past them last season, so we shouldn't fear them. 3 points.

Swansea looks a tough game, based on their previous couple of seasons. But this season they're poor. They've only won once since August - and that was against Aston Villa. We should be going there expecting to win. 3 points.

Chelsea have been crap so far. The only teams they've beaten so far have been Norwich, Villa, West Brom and Arsenal. Three crap teams, and the win against Arsenal, which was more to do with the ref's performance than their own. Vardy will enjoy himself against their ageing defence. Costa won't be able to intimidate Morgan and Huth like he does some defenders. 3 points.

Everton could be the toughest game of the six. They're on a good run and have been scoring lots of goals. Their style means we should get plenty of opportunities to counter though, which we do better than anyone. Three points.

A trip to Anfield is always one of our better away days, even when we've been rubbish. So now we're no longer rubbish it should be an easy win. Three points.

Manchester City showed against Liverpool yesterday how poor they are when you attack them. We'll attack them. Three points.

So that's 18 points from the next six games, which will leave us 7 points clear at the top of the table at the end of the year...

Thanks Jeff. I'll take that.
Lovely.

Every game scares me and always has done.

I don't think I am doing it right.

Back in the dark days they didn't scare me, there was an acceptance of shit that was coming. We had many a season of football ruining what was otherwise a nice day going to pubs.

What is even better, is that even if we lost home and away to Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea, but kept our current form against everyone else, we would still end up with about 70 points, which in many years would sneak us 4th place!

PS Whilst I agree with Jeff's sentiments that no team is currently invincible and they all have been beaten by 'lesser' teams, I think 18 points from the next 6 games is a trifle optimistic, but I am confident that Ranieri will meet his 40 point target by New Year's Day!

I love Jeff's post. Nothing to fear here and this is the first time in nearly 50 years that I have felt this confident. I may be still pissed from the very over the top weekend celebrations, but Christ on a bike, I'm loving this season!

We've got off ok only playing one of the 3 teams you'd realistically be expecting to challenge for the title, but Swansea and Chelsea have been 2 of the worst teams in the league so far this season and Liverpool and Everton have both been very erratic.

I don't think the 6 fixtures are a tough as you think. Right now I'd much rather be playing Chelsea, Everton, Swansea and Liverpool than I would Crystal Palace and West Ham who we've both beaten.

We've got nothing to lose against the big teams so **** it. Worth noting that Manchester United are going through a mini injury crisis at the minute as well so even though their second it's probably as good a time as any to play them. I think winning all six is a bit of an over-ambitious prediction but I think we might ruffle a few feathers and take some points where we might not be expected to.

I wouldn't lump Everton with the other 3, they are really starting to fire. Particularly Lukaku and Barkley, really starting to find their feet and at Goodison is always going to be a tough ask.

Every game is difficult some more difficult than others.

At some point the media and some fans were bound to get carried away but I'd bet that the manager is too experienced to get taken in.

A top 10 finish would be a fantastic achievement - anything significantly better is heading towards football miracle territory. The next few fixtures look tough - much may depend on avoiding too many injuries/ suspensions.
