Yes, we have a small squad, but it's competitive and if we stay relatively injury free then there is no reason why we cannot seriously challenge for promotion in the Championship.

My team for tomorrows opener:

Smith, Jefferson, Taylor, Nixon, Du Toit, New, Naik, Henderson, Hoggard, Buck, Malik.

Not the strongest batting line up, but Naik is quite capable with the bat. I think most teams will fear our impressive bowling attack.

Twenty20 and One Day - I cannot see us making many waves im afraid.

Boyce is a guaranteed starter. Let's hope he earns his place this year.

Smith is still at Uni, so unless there is an injury won't play. Let's also hope Du Toit continues his form from last year.

That XI is good, but we practically have no one else if they lose form or get injured.

Smith is available for this game according to the Mercury.

I wouldn't pick Boyce but no doubt he will be in the XI.
