Adding an attachment from those already stored

How do I add an attachment to a post from those pictures I have previously uploaded? Seems I have to upload a new pic every time, can't find a way to access a pic I have already uploaded previously and which is still there in my list of attachments.

When I reply to a post, like I am doing now, there is a paperclip icon in the menubar for adding an attachment. If I click on this I get another window open up that allows me to upload a picture from my computer or from a URL.

The problem is, I already have pictures that I have uploaded in the past (as can be verified in the 'attachments' box in the User CP) but I cannot seem to locate these from within the paperclip icon options. I have to upload a picture again rather than use what should already be there.

Is there a way to do this?

I think you have to re-upload the pic when you make a new post.

Oh I think I can see how you did it Jeff, you linked the entire URL to the location rather than just the picture number? Thing is, how do I do it with my store Haven't got a clue what the path is other than a wild guess at the starting bit!

Go to the attachments section in the control panel, and click on the file name. It will open in a new browser window. Then just copy the url from your browser.
