I, too, have been a fan of Schlupp in the past, but his performance against Porto was belligerent enough to deserve a rethink...which is clearly what Clownio has also done.

We will likely sell him cheaper than his value due to his diabolical form. He clearly needs a new club.

There are multiple sources online that say the same figure - I just linked the first one I found when I was asked to. They were published somewhere else (Daily something or other) and the original article included salaries for Ranieri and others too. I don't think that the figures attributed to the players at the time look made up. Why would they be?

You don't think they look made up? They say that Schlupp is on £80k for crying out loud!!

And whether it's the Daily Mail or the Daily Express, neither are hardly much more reliable than the Sun Dreamteam.

I've long said he lacks footballing intelligence. He may have excellent attributes, but he lacks the positional sense to be top end player. Last year he looked good when the game was stretched and he could attack, but defensively he gets caught out too often.
