Best gig ever been to?

After reading the last gig thread it got me thinking of the best gig,
mine has got to be Boxing Day 1991 at Rock City, Thunder playing to only around 1000 people, fecking brilliant, they were on stage for about three hours and when they ran out of there own stuff they took requests and just jammed. They took a few breaks and just got a beer and mingled with the crowd chatting.

They are not the best known band but IMO a great live act.

Harry the drummer also wore a city shirt at one of the gigs I went to, it could have been the rock city one but can not remember.

Queens of the stone age - Leeds Uni 2002 - fooking awesome - nearly died in the mosh pit, the roadies were up on the balconies and you could just see them preparing lines and lines of coke

Why Colchester?!? It's a shithole of a RAF base.

I really question why bands put on gigs on in place of that calibre.

There was some kunt next to me moaning all night about the price of the beer, that he couldn't get to the bar, that there wasn't enough men parading around with their shirts off, and that he was fed up with this country and he was thinking about heading up to Scotland to get away from all the kunts in England

I tend to prefer seeing band in smaller venues which is good considering most of the bands I like rarely play Stadiums...
