We have certainly played better than that and lost - but a good three points and although most of the match was poor, I like the way that when down to 10 men we didn't just pull everyone back in to our penalty area and defend for our lives for the last 10 minutes. We gave it a go and were rewarded with an added time goal. Also Kasper's best game for quite a while . Well done City!

Generally a poor quality game overall, and our first half performance was simply pathetic

I actually thought we were ok for most of the second half, Mahrez being a constant nuisance - we will be complete arsebiscuits when he goes in a few weeks time

Ref had a total howler, and we battled particularly well with ten men, which suggests we're not quite on the beach just yet

If you are prepared to ignore the whole of the first half, then that will do nicely

So poor until the pen save. Just kept passing sideways, sideways...Mahrez free role just left Simpson exposed in the 1st half. Ndidi tried to cover but that opened up midfield. That said happy with the result in the end! Good game for Kasper. I think Vardy's goal was the only time we sent a good ball his way.

Thought some of the yellows were a bit harsh - didn't get a good enough look at Simpson's or Ndid's second but thought his first and Chilwells were harsh. Morgan's was a yellow. Lino also had a poor one but kept flagging the ball for us when it wasn't so won't complain too much.

We were generally poor and the 2-0 victory puts a slight gloss on a turd of a performance. To add, the bookings were harsh and the referee was dogshit. IMO it was never a penalty and the guy should be retrospectively banned.

We have little to play for so to lose him now might not be a bad thing. It will put the onus on Silva to come in a make his mark. Hopefully.
