Wouldn't like to bet that Broad will be with us next season :icon_eek:

From the Telegraph:

Stuart Broad might have been surplus to England requirements yesterday, but the Leicestershire seam bowler is still in demand.

Broad, who will be out of contract at the end of the season, is attracting other counties' interest, with Warwickshire confirming that they have made a formal approach to speak to him.

Leicestershire have a 28-day period to try to persuade Broad to stay, after which he will be a free agent.

Just looking at the website http://leicestershireccc.co.uk/articles/0/794.html , sounds like a rather desperate appeal for Broad to stay.

I think he'll go because I remember we tried to tie him down to a long term contract not that long ago, if contract talks are still going on then its not that encouraging. If I would guess, it would be that he would stay in the east midlands though...

Although if hes going to be a regular in the England team then it might not be such a big loss.

Fully expect Broad to go. When you look at the quality in many of the other county sides, we are lagging well behind. I'm sure he'll think he can do better than us and will want to test himself in a better quality team:icon_sad:
