I think we'll probably find that the team will be very similar to Friday night. Maybe Mahrez in for Chilwell, but that's it.

The players run the show, they've said what they want and they'll be given a few games to prove that they know feck all.

I see nothing to say that CR isn't in charge. I expect changes to the team - he played the alternative team for the FA Cup. The team against Burnley will show us the direction he thinks is best.

I think I know what you're saying. CR does, I hope, have a long term plan and wants to take a direction towards it. Remember his mantra though, 'slowly slowly'. He is obviously aware of the relegation battle so may think that, right now, he needs results and for that needs the players playing with confidence. He may well put his own direction in 'slowly, slowly' mode whilst he gets the players with him.

CR doesn't come across to me as a leader by diktat, more of a consensus leader albeit one with a singular vision. He might be managing with a degree of stealth at the moment.

I'm not sure what there is to be optimistic about, we have not scored a league goal since Slimani left to go on International duty, that is shambolic and we are playing against one of the best home sides in the league.
