He's from my area, so I know more of him for that reason. I also know a lot of Forest fans and they all rate him highly, so I'm aware of him for that reason too. I am, however, surprised you've "never heard of him", he has been doing pretty well for them, particularly at the start of this season.
 
You don't secure a big move to Red Bull Leipzig without putting in some big performances in front of an empty Trent end that's for sure.
 
Pearson lol

Remember him banging on about how lucky Ranieri was to have inherited his ever so strong "foundations" last season.

Then he takes over a Derby side on the edge of promotion for a few years running and having finished last season with 14 points from their final 7 games - pretty strong foundations - and is getting booed off the pitch within a few weeks after they've barely scored a goal in six games.

Always got time for Nige but ****in hell mate don't make it so obvious you're a Leicester fan. You'll be sacked before you have chance to get them relegated.

I imagine the boo's would have been ringing out again tonight.

Luke Varney gave Ipswich the lead early in the second half with his side's first real effort, and it finished 1-0. Another defeat another goalless game.
I imagine that was sweet for City fan Varney.
Nigel's a bit like The Old Vic useless without a bit of Shakespeare
 
Derby fans on their boards are pretty much in universal agreement that he should be sacked. What a disaster for Pearson. Thought he might struggle without Walsh and Shakey but wasn't expecting him to be this bad.
 
Some fantastic comments from the Draby lot:

Pearson is growing a beard. Reminds me of Roy Keane when he was scared of being found out as a manager, trying to hide behind a beard. He's also trying to sign Sol Bamba. Scored three goals all season and he wants to sign Sol ****ing Bamba. The bloke's head has gone, it's obvious.
 
Has Nigel signed his son up yet? Maybe James Pearson is the brains of the operation after all.
