Rumours abound on Twitter they're on their way from Millwall.

Wood's transfer is apparently the closer to completion.

That would be an ideal double swoop but i wouldnt fancy visiting the den anytime soon (not nice to lose your best 2 players!)

The over hyped den, one of the best away days I think, safe and good pubs at london bridge.

As for the players, well the fans prefer to get on their own teams back early on rather than the visiting players.

WBA have, apparently, had bids accepted from both us and Millwall for Chris Wood. If that's the case then I guess it's down to what the player wants. If it's all about the money then we probably have the better chance to land him. If he wants a shot at Premier League football then I reckon he's better off staying with Millwall.

Do you honestly believe that?

We are currently in the top 6 because of a good early showing and a freak result against Ipswich. On the way we are playing recently, having taken only 12 points out of the last 33, and the fact that we are unable to adapt our playing style based on the opposition I doubt that we will be in there after the next two games. Unless NP can turn round two season's worth of inconsistency in the next few games, yes, I believe that we will have blown our chances of a play-off place.

I hope this proves to be the case.

In a few games, the worst position we could be in would be 9 pts off the play-offs, and more likely 5-6 pts. In this league that's very little, and to say that we'd have blown our chances in January is very short-sighted. Imho.

We aren't even in 2013 and people are already talking of us as though we're on the verge of blowing our play-off place?

Ye Gods.

Woods hey, even Austin would come here and struggle to score, cursed I you.
