Managed to catch them training yesterday for a bit and the atmosphere looked totally different. Wortho seems a lot more pro active with the players and the tempo was really high. All of them seemed to be taking it very serriously even though the Horse did manage to fall over a big post and land in a big heap.

Big heap of what?;)

How the hell could anybody in the right mind have watched elvis when he was at fulham and thought that he would be a good addition to our side. It just baffles me. Who was responsible for his signing?

Went a couple of times under Kelly, thought it was poor.

A lot of pratting about during sessions, Kelly didn't get involved.(with the training ...not being a prat..EDIT)

Got to be careful about this pro-Worthington feeling thats about, Kelly was hardley a hard act to follow, Adams would look good now

Yeah i know what your saying. There was a definate improvement though.

As for Elvis, we had him on loan until the end of the season. He played about 4 games. He looked crap. Then we signed him out of the blue before his loan spell was up. Great bit of business there Rob. Lovely

Levein bought him, not Kelly.

As a striker, even though he had never ever ever ever scored a first team goal in his entire life ever ever ever.

Scouts had really done their homework there.

neither had muzzy izzet

Except he wasn't bought as a striker!

yeh but he had never played a first team game and never scored a goal for the first team but look at the player he turned into for us. sometimes you have to take gambles. We havent got the money, even now, of the biggest teams and it is unlikely we ever will have. as with all gambles sometimes they dont pay off.

Yes but surely, even when you're taking a gamble, you would expect a striker that you are looking at to have scored at least one senior goal ffs
