Not sure if anyone can help me with this one, but thought I'd ask anyway.

I've got an Excel spreadsheet with various bits of data that relate to bookings people have made. I'd like to send out an email to these customers and instead of typing them all individually, I'm looking to send an email containing the merge fields so that it inputs the data for me. I can do this much myself.

My problem is this - one of the fields is a hyperlink which is different for each customer (i.e. a unique link), and rather than showing the whole URL, I would rather it just said "Click Here" or was a button of some sort, but I can't work out how to do this. I can convert a "click here" to a weblink no problem if it's the same each time, but as this is a merge field I don't know how to do it, or if it's even possible.

Does anyone know if it's possible and if so how to do it?

Many thanks for any help that can be given.

(ps I've tried feeding the computer Monster Munch but that didn't seem to work so I'm a bit stumped).

how are you doing it yourself?

have you seen the HYPERLINK function in Excel?

Just through mailmerge in Word, but using the email setting instead of the other options (labels/letters etc) and then merging in data from the Excel file.

The hyperlinks were merging fine as hyperlinks (and not just going to text items), but I wanted to hide the long url that was all.

Probably very simple to people who know what they're doing, but it was new to me.
