Peterborough United 2-0 Leicester City
28 March 2009

On loan goalkeeper Tony Warner cemented his place as City's No. 1 keeper with another standout performance to claim man of the match in City's 2-0 defeat at Peterborough on Saturday. Warner was voted the best Leicester player by some distance with Jack Hobbs finishing some way behind in second and Max Gradel tieing with the returning Kisnorbo in third.

Paul Dickov had a difficult afternoon with his performance, Posh fans and even his own players culminating in a flop of the match award voted for by the travelling City fans. Joe Mattock, Lloyd Dyer, Matty Fryatt and Bruno Berner were not far off after poor individual performances.

When did Dickov have a hard time with the Posh fans? I dont even recall any PBoro fans actually making any noise other than the cheering of the goals. May have been me not being able to hear it being in the middle of the away stand but still

He was receiving a fair amount of abuse during the game. I was out in P'boro on Saturday night as well and there was a lot of anti-Dickov singing going on too.
