if we have a manager who knows when to sell players and who to replace them with it is a good way of business for our size of club. we are a selling club and until someone else wins a massive amount of money on the lottery we always will be.

Let's face it, if a premiership club came in for one of our players, we would have to accept the offer if it was good enough, if for no other reason that the player would want off. That's not a reflection on our squad, it's just a fact of life. Because of our potential audience, location, etc., we are never going to be able to compete moneywise with the big clubs on a long term basis. All we can hope for is to defy the odds by bringing through young players and holding on to some of them long enough to get into the premiership, but it would not be sustainable for a great length of time, I'm afraid.
