I think that if we could have kept most of the side together then we would have, it would have been the best team in the first division.
Whenever a team says that they are 'rebuilding' its football code for 'we are stoney broke and have to cut the wage bill'. Whilst I think there are a lot of quality players we could potentially get for a lot cheaper than we have been paying some of the old boys who have moved on, the realist in me says why would they want to come to a side in division one who can hardly boast a starting 11.
Novo sounds good but I think hes in talks with one of the promoted clubs...as for utter despair...Thatchers the next one out the door! Then it'll probably be filbert the fox to Birmingham! But don't worry I think Mickey has secured the services of the Hartleypool monkey for a nominal fee, subject to a get out clause of 100 quality Jamaican bananas.
Sorry for the negativity, thats my quota for the year. I'm off down the ticket office on Saturday to renew my season ticket!
Derby have apparently sold 10,000 tickets and we are not even close to that...over my dead body do they have a better fan base than us! I know their tickets are probably cheaper...but it looks bad!
