Agreed, I thought it was the oddest direction I've seen for a live match. Cameras showing anything but the action, then quickly cutting to close up of the action almost at ground level so you had no idea what was happening or where they were on the pitch. I remember this specifically happened when that Derby sub nearly walked through our back four to score.

At one point you could see McLaren watching the ball go from left to right 3-4 times on the pitch with his eyes - picture a tennis fan watching a game - with the viewer at home no wiser to what was happening.
Thank God for this confirmation and the all the comments above - I thought I was having hallucinations and black outs ....
