Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Kirkland in goal, Mattock at right back, making his debut and O'Gravy on the bench for Wednesday tonight at Brighton. The winners go top of The Championship

Louis Dodds scores for Port Vale.

My mate's Dad owns Port Vale, or owns shares within the club. I was talking to him today about Louis Dodd's and Micky Adams, he likes Adams but doesn't know who Dodds is!

I thought it was standard operating practice for club owners to have no clue about the club

I love this forum compared to that other pile of gash.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Rab Douglas has just been interviewed on BBC Alba and says 'love of the game' keeps him playing, actual if he loved the game he shoul have retired in 1984 when he was playing schools football with my mate!

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Gallagher provided the assist for Sheff U's goal this afternoon.

Tommy Wright won his first League game as a manager as Chesterfield beat Wycombe 3-1.

Seriously confused here. Might have something to do with the lovely IPA I'm enjoying but which Tommy Wright are we talking about here? The one in Aberdeen or the original?

He got the job because he was the only candidate to successfully plug the lap top in.
