Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

So our campaign that season revolved totally around getting promoted then? Which we did. What's not to enjoy about that?

The lad doesn't want success in his career.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

He played 30 times for us, most of the games I attended but I just can't remember him playing for us at all. I remember Bunn, Stockdale, Warner & Pentney playing that season but just not Martin.

I am exactly the same, I can not remember him at all.

IIRC, never quite mastered the art of when to do the sweeper bit, usually stayed back and then charged forward at the last moment and made a horlicks of the clearance. Still, doubt we lost more than a handful of those 30 games, so no harm done.

Peltier just conceded a penalty against Brighton.

Pelts gave away a pretty poor pen for Weeds earlier.

Edit: was looking at earlier page and missed the above post

@BBCBreaking: Craig Levein will not continue as manager of Scotland's national football team, BBC learns. Details soon http://t.co/NaOkli5Y

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Andy Welsh has just scored a hat trick for Carlisle Reserves against Penrith Rangers. His third goal made it 16-0.

Only 3 out of 16 must be disappointing for him

Neil Lennon manages Celtic to a 2-1 win over Barca, their first group stage defeat in 3 years

Not forgetting Garry Parker alongside him.
