What's not to get? It's simple, you are awarded points on where your racers finish and how many places they climb during the race. There are extra points available if the track you 'own' is being used and there are at least 4 retirements unless the race conditions are wet when it needs to be at least 8 retirements except when Schumacher or Alonso are in the lead. The constructors points are awarded to any team having their cars finishing in 3rd, 4th or 5th and a special extra 'building' point is given should all racers finish outside the top ten. The final total is worked out by mulitplying the points awarded for track discipline by the points dropped for poor engine reliability. This total is then mixed with your nearest competitors score at the time of the free practice and this new 'training total' is added to the score you had in the previous race's qualifiying third out lap. The league is often randomised to encourage the losing teams to keep playing and if you pay £3 for extra transfers you can actually transfer points instead of racers. Ultimately, the winner is the person with a points tally nearest to 734 (figure liable to change depending on who wins).

Look at the dates posted. Points had been awarded for all the other drivers except me. It was because I hadn't submitted my new team. I did submit my team eventually, 2 days after the race and they awarded my points 4 days after the GP. Until Wednesday morning I was bottom with 0 pts.

Don't try patronising me with your "you should know the rules, so I shall explain it in simple terms bollox" :icon_wink
