The match itself is:

Man Utd v Crystal Palace.

Bob, could you please predict before Monday as your opponent is away late that week and if your predictions could end up as a tie then I need to devise a plan for the replay.

One could be that if the points are equal at the end of the game then I use your prediction league points this week only as a back up? If this were equal I could use count back on most points scored in 10,5,4,3,1?

What do you both think?

Why not reduce the chance of a tie by also asking for predictions for the Scottish cup final.

Or, as a tie breaker, predict the time of the first goal, closest wins.

The trouble with using this week's Premier League fixtures is that they predate the actual fixture itself. A bit like having the replay before the game itself. The result will be known before the game even takes place. With respect, it is a crap idea, IMHO.

The Hibs v Rangers result only comes into play if you are tied on points at the end of the FA Cup final.

e.g. If the result is 0-0 or 0-3 and so on...the points awarded are identical to the prediction league.
