I hope we put out a strong team. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t be aiming to win the FA Cup this season.

No way should Ndidi be anywhere near the team for this match. He should be wrapped up in cotton wool and safely tucked away in the Leicestershire countryside.

Agreed. Mendy is more than capable of handling a Stoke side 8th in the Championship.

Just looked at their squad - John Obi Mikel? wtf?

If Ricardo isn't fit, stick Amartey in his place and play Morgan at CB. Who cares really?!

Slimani AND Nacho up front.... blimey, a comedy double act.

I see no value in giving Slimani a run. None whatsoever. He's already gone. I doubt he's even motivated to put in a shift.

That aside, I reckon that's pretty much the line up we'll see.

Listening to the radio today it sounds like testing has been less than thorough in the EFL. If that's the case, I'd send nobody who might be needed anywhere near the first team squad for a few weeks.

All EFL players are being tested this week.
There were concerns apparently about how deep into the squad the tests would go as well - would under 23s etc be tested. I just wouldn't bother. We seem to have escaped it so far, and the last thing we need is it derailing because of Stoke.
