Barcelona are trying to shift Umtiti and Everton are trying to shift Digne, we should focus on those two on loan and potentially let Vestegaard or Bertrand go abroad if that's possible. Not sure if this Swansea lad is any good up front but we are more bereft than mother hubbards cupboard up top so anything would be welcome.

Let Vestergaard and Bertrand go to other premier league clubs if there's anyone daft enough to take them, not abroad.

If Benkovic can't get a game amongst that lot he must be very poor, unless throwing my BN tinfoil hat on there is something else going on with him.
Benkovic doesn't exist.

He's a fictional character. Like Jesus or Harry Potter.

It's probably some sort of tax dodge.

Can't argue.

When our next home game goes ahead with 30k fans plus going mingling in concourses I'm expecting TalkSport to be equally radge about that. As with everything these days covid.....it's either a deal or it isn't. Seems like it isn't unless there can be some radge.

Can't you? I'm not sure what rules or guidance the players have broken?

It is a staggeringly stupid thing to do.

Footballers are paid an extraordinary amount to live the life of professional sportsmen. For example, this means that they train and travel on Xmas Day instead of getting pissed and eating a turkey dinner. They get a couple of months every summer to act like carefree young twats. For the rest of their time, I expect them to act and behave like professionals.

Over and above this, when your club is at the very edge of catastophe due to unavailability of players, it is even more important that you take your wellbeing seriously. Spending an evening in a confined space with hundreds of others is utterly mad.

If they haven't broken club rules by doing so, then the rules need to be changed. The only possible rationale for what they did was to deliberately go and get Covid because the club want their next few matches to be called off.

Where would the rules stop then? Can they go to pubs or restaurants? Cinemas? Football matches? Are their kids allowed to attend schools and still have contact with them?

Plenty of people with actually important jobs will have spent the festive period in pubs and with family. Not sure why footballers should be an exception tbh.

Let’s just lock them up shall we so that they can’t possible catch covid. Better lock their family up with them so that they can’t catch it and bring it back to them.

Jesus wept.

There's nothing in the rules preventing the pair of them from sinking 12 pints of brown ale after every training session. Doing so probably wouldn't be detrimental to their performance at least initially and there might even be an improvement in team bonding. Come the end of the season, we'd likely be seeing more injuries and more poor performances. Though all in the rules, how many of us would be labelling these players a liability and be happy for them to be moved on - in the same way some were earlier in the season when there was talk of some of the youngsters spending all their time in the casino. It is fair to say that they're paid to act as professionals, who have all summer and very long retirements to make up for it

I'm sorry BN I don't agree. If they want to go to the darts then they are entitled to.
Nah, stick em in the stocks.

What an absolute load of nonsense, players have done stupid, rule breaking, things in the pandemic but this is just them doing what they and the rest of society are allowed to do. Nothing to see here.
