That he's getting fitter? :102:

As he has been banned from the Man City training ground, it makes sense to train somewhere close to your family and you are welcome, then when Spurs come calling, he will be in some reasonable shape.

Coup of the season if he signs for Cardiff.

I would be surprised if they would let him go to a rival. Be safer just to bench him if not loan/sell him downwards.

It might not be their choice. If Manchester City are not playing him and have banned him from the training ground, the ball is in the player's court and he can go in whichever direction he chooses.

If he is under contract Man City can refuse to sell him to Spurs. If they have broken his contract by denying him training facilities, Bellamy might have to go to court to get his registration back by sueing them for breach of contract.

Man City have effectively stopped Bellamy from carrying out his profession - at least as far as his current contract is concerned.

If the player thinks that it is in his best interest then he may well have a case for seeking to be a free agent.

His problem is that if a club wants him on loan then they will also want Man City to pay a tidy chunk of his wages - so it may suit Bellamy not to push this one too far.

I doubt very much if it would get as far as court. The clubs know that it is the players who have the power nowadays.

Might now be Spurs either - Fulham are also interested. If either make him a satisfactory personal offer, it's hard to see how Man City could stop him going there.
