Went there years ago for a bowling night(They had one of those old-fashioned skittle alleys) and meal when Birchy's lad ran the place.

Was ok I guess if I remember it rightly.

I used to go a lot but that was more than a decade ago. I didn't try the roasted griffin. I've heard it's a bit gamey.

I bought a voucher from there - meal for 2 at The Golden Fleece in South Croxton.

£25 for a glass of wine, plus a starter, main & desert each. (i think there's a bit extra to pay if you have one of the 2 'fancy' dishes).

I check the site every day now just in case I see something of use.

Today's groupon deal for leicester looks like a good one if you know anyone who is about to start driving lessons. 4 hours for £20, instead of £20 per hour. You can also get 10% off your next lesson.

I think £20 per hour is a pretty decent rate anyway.
