I've never used it before, if I buy the voucher today do I have to actually use it today aswell?

Should say in the terms when it is valid until. But usually you don't have to use it straight away.

That will be when the deal is available to buy until. There will be a seperate section in the description advising exactly when the voucher can be used.

Normally with Groupon, you'll pay now and within 48 hours your voucher will be ready to print from the 'My account' section of your personal profile.

So that particular deal is valid until 29th Oct. You can use it Mon-Fri between 9am and 5pm. First come first served, and takes approx 1hr.

Ive had a few things off Groupon now and been pleased with all of my deals. Going for a meal on a groupon tonight and then having a photo shoot on a groupon next week.

We went to a Groupon purchased wine tasting evening at a friends house only for the wine company to not show up. Said friend had rented wine glasses and spent plenty of cash on cheese and the like. Disappointing and a bit embarrassing for the friend.

I assumed from Beights post that there wasn't a problem. Just giving us some info about groupon. I would think that different offers make more money for groupon dependent on the company involved.

Exactly. I didn't have a problem. My photo shoot was great as have been all of the offers that i have had. Just surprised it was as much as that they take.

I can't believe it, the car valet I had was 11 quid from 40odd, it took them over an hour to do. If they only got 5 quid, what is in it for the company?

They're hoping people will go back and pay full price.
Lots of companies will lose money on a first sale to attract new customers.


Groupon give them access to potential customers who won't have heard of them before and it might work out cheaper than other forms of advertising.

I suppose, though whilst the job they did was ok, there's no way if pay full price for it.
