HELP!
I'm getting well pissed off with this computer.
I have got windows media player 9 and I want to rip some cd's but the cd information is not being displayed. This computer is on broadband so it should just display the info shouldn't it?

First person to tell me how to get it to display the info gets a prize.

Thanks

Are you ripping as MP3's or WMA's?

When it's ripping, have you clicked "Find Album Info"?

Either Melto, it just says page cannot be displayed instead of all the track names, etc

Although you are online, does WMP know you are online?

Also Tools - Options - Player

There is a "connect to the internet" box, try highlighting this

When you try and play a CD without ripping it, does it display the info then?

Have you tried a different CD, some it doesn't recognise

Try a popular one

Failing all else, upgrade to Media Player 10

I've just tried a CD that I don't have on my hard drive and that worked, so the server isn't down. If you check for updates, does it recognise you as online?

I have just upgraded to media 9 though - I thought this would solve the problem but it hasn't.
