Just a wacky idea i've had about treating my old folk to a special wedding anniversary present. I have no idea of cost, or where you can go for a flight, but if anyone can advise that would be great

The thought of serenely floating over the countryside on a early summers evening appeals and i'm sure would be a memorable occasion for my parents

my mum and dad are doing it for their anniversary next month. you can do it all over the country, the one arround here would be rutland water and surrounding countryside i think.

the one thing i do know is the weather/wind has to be perfect so you can end up with lots of cancellations/false starts

There is a firm out at Woodhouse Eves that will arrange flights.

I looked into it a little while back, it's normally around £125 -£175 per person depending if it's midweek or at the weekend.
