Bopara opened and top scored for England, scoring 60 runs.

Blessing in disguise, Sehwag was slowing down.

Yuvraj & Dhoni have won us some matches together, memorable matches I expect nothing less in this match.

India require another 114 runs with 6 wickets and 23.0 overs remaining

Good order with Bopara. We have the 7-8-9 capable of smashing a few runs when the pressure's off - need some openers to build the innings. Dropping Cook (a dinosaur of one day cricket) also a wise decision.

It's a new thread because it's a new match.

Do you think there should be one thread for all LCFC matches too?

Fair enough, there wasn't a new one for the second match. We all know England COULD win this a lot more of a chance then the first two matches.

Bad light stopped play india 198/5

43 short of the win

India take the light and win by D&L.

As shame really could have been a very good game if they had stayed on. Seems crazy that they go off for bad light when there are floodlights at the ground.

I will be embarrassed IF we win like this, I will not gloat at all.

The game was indecisive. Feel sorry for you guys if you lose.

Nice to see a different make up of the side today.

Nice to see Anderson get the nod ahead of Harmy. Alrite he bowled like a spanner today but he's a better shot than harmy at the mo imo.

Prior is gonna be struggling like hell if he dont get some runs soon. dropped from his position to number 7 too.

Give ben scott a stint behind the sticks and see if he can do any better. been impressed with him

i'm a big fan of shah and think he is better down the order. Not sure how long colly has got left. he needs a really good end of series or his place will be up for grabs.

Completely barking, the Test Match Special team were saying it was clearly going to be cut short half way through the first innings.

We are never going to be a force in one-dayers if our batsmen can't start scoring 80s, 90s and tons. Our batting is one day cricket must be the poorest out of the 8 proper teams.

....and therein lies our problem.
1 or 2 really don't warrant their place in the team - but on closer inspection, the options are quite limited. Our best one-day batsman is unavailable and it seems, currently irreplaceable.
