Qatar scoring a goal nearly every 5 minutes to tonight. Pointless. Uae nearly as bad.

Qatar 15 - 0 Bhutan
UAE 10 - Malaysia

Qatar had 8 different goal scorers.
Sounds like good football!

Iceland impress again. 1-0 win in Holland tonight. Top of the table and almost qualified already for the Euros.

Bale does it again.
And Robbie Savage called Andy King's performance as magnificent.
Well done Wales.

Ninth in the world according to FIFA.

Which says more about their ranking system than it does about Wales.
I applied the same system to a measure of male attractiveness & my arse came in slightly ahead of George Clooney.

Wouldn't it anyway dear?

Okazaki played 78 mins before being subbed in Japan's 3-0 win against Cambodia. Neither scored nor get booked. Couldn't find out if the substitution was tactical or due to injury.

Plenty of reports in the media that Jamie Vardy will start against San Marino

It's been confirmed by Hodgson.

Having just watched the Scotland game, and having seen most of his performances here for Chicago Fire, we really dodged a bullet last January in not signing Shaun Maloney, cos' he is useless.

Of course they did.But in both their days there wasn't the proliferation of shite there has been for Rooney.

They played against the USSR not Moldova & Georgia.Yugoslavia rather than Macedonia etc.

Gary scored 10 goals at World Cup finals.Rooney's goalscoring has been conspicuous by it's absence in major tournaments. He'says been overratted.Good player certainly but world class? Never close to it.Nobody outside England rates him at all (well maybe Singapore & Malaysia) Proof of the pudding was a few years back when he threw his toys out of the pram & got himself a new contract. The only transfer speculation was a brief flicker of interest from Chelsea that came to nothing as fast as it appeared. Not so much as a vague stirring of interest from any of the big European clubs as they knew damn well the fee would be ridiculous & they could get better for less.

Emperor's new clothes & always has been.Same as Beckham only not quite on the same level of ridiculousness. But then nothing is.

Totally agree with this. Not a bad player at club level, but useless at international level when it's mattered. He's been to 3 World Cup finals and scored 1 goal! Sir Gaz and Sir Bob scored in the big games, not just against 3rd rate opposition in the qualifiers or friendlies. Every international manager has persevered with him when there were often better options and now he's captain so he'll never be dropped. Main reason he's scored 48 international goals is because he's been playing for England since he was 17, so 12 years of opportunity. Most don't start their England career until early 20's or later.

Kasper kept a clean sheet for Denmark, but disappointment for the Danes as they only drew 0-0 at home to Albania. A game they needed to win.

Tactical. He played the middle man in a three-forward formation, but Cambodia put nine men behind the ball for most of the game so he had a frustrating night battling away in very little space.
