It was a great weekend 23-24.oct ‘76.
Listened to BBC world service on the medium wave for that game on the Saturday, and on the Sunday my local team won the Norwegian Cup Final.
Leicester-Arsenal was actually shown in full on Norwegian TV in January ‘77 due to the planned chosen game was postponed due to bad weather, and so was all alternatives, so that picked our game vs Arsenal from the archives. Those were the days. Lucky me.

I suppose the fact that there was so little football on the telly back then compared to now is why I remember these games so vividly. This one was less than 2 months after my very first trip to Filbert St. The beginning of the 45 year journey. Jesus. I was so young. Nothing had happened yet. Life was literally filled with possibilities. Everything was fun & new.

Life should have a rewind button.
