dont know what you think jeff but would be a good idea to have an introduce yourself thread ,for new members to say hi /hello just so threads dont go off topic you could then pin the site rules at the top so they read that first as well

I think we tried the introduce youself thing a few years ago but it got taken over by some of the regulars posting off topic stuff :icon_conf

New people should read the forum rules as part of the registration process - they have to tick a box to say they agree to them!
The rules are also linked as an announcement at the top of every forum.
