I don’t think Barnes fits the Enzo model as a winger. He likes them to hug the touchline and be good at one-on-ones. That is absolutely not Barnes. Of course, Enzo may have turned him into a number 8.

I was a huge Barnes fan and definitely had blinkers to his faults as I loved watching him when he was on form, and I still think he was undervalued on here.

But I thought I’d miss him more. And that’s because of the wingers we bought in, as well as his injury meaning he’s not been scoring and assisting every week in the PL.
