Hello and welcome to the first edition of Kingy's Fox Hunt: taking a closer look at Foxes of the past.
Sergio Hellings
Sergio Hellings joined Leicester City on 19 June 2007 as the fifth addition to Martin Allen's Leicester revolution. Born in Amsterdam he was a product of the famous Ajax academy and in 2002 was sold to Anderlecht for €2million. From Belgium Sergio moved back to The Netherlands with spells at Heracles Almelo (43 games 3 goals) & then AGOVV Apeldoorn (25 games) before arriving at City on a free transfer.
The season didn't quite turn out as planned for Sergio. Just weeks into the season Martin Allen left the club and Hellings never made a first team appearance. In fact the closest he came to pulling on the City shirt was as an unused substitute in a 4-3 Cup loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
So, the question remains... Was Hellings a superstar in the making who never got his chance? Is he the one that got away? Or is Martin Allen an ignorant, useless, disgraceful coach with little or no footballing knowledge. We may never find out.

Leicester have completed the signing of former Ajax and Anderlecht midfielder Sergio Hellings.
The 22-year-old came through the youth system at Ajax and went on to represent Holland at all levels up to under-20.
He left Ajax to join Anderlecht in October 2002 and has attracted the attention of Middlesbrough.
Leicester boss Martin Allen had told the club website: "Sergio is a player with huge potential and I am delighted that he is going to sign for us."

How the hell can someone be happy with a player they've never seen before in their life.
Graz
And why are others so unhappy with a player they've never seen before in their life?
Peterborough Fox

The Legendary Dog Handler
saw him against hinckley last year and he was awful, and looked out of his depth against quorn last week. Surprised we kept him so long.
