LCFC SMS Text Service

I signed up to this service a few years ago and been receiving them without a problem for new signing announcements, team line-ups, goals etc. for a few seasons running. I'm on the pay per each text service rather than direct debit.

However, the last one I received was for the N'Guessan signing on 26th June.

Since then we have signed, Astrit, Wellens and Waghorn and I've not recieved one text from them of any kind.

Anyone else had the same experience or is it just me?

Count yourself lucky. If their SMS service is anything like the OS a tortoise could get the news to you quicker.

In this day and age you really shouldnt be wasting your money on these alerts.

Even FIFA 09 told me that Mattock was leaving!

Are you sure that's the club's official service?

I doubt they'd send texts about an "imminent" arrival, they only report stuff that's actually happened.

I recieved a text stating "Perrson was confident Sundrland would loan him Waghorn" then another after he signed ( i get my alerts from 6886, as seen on teletext)

I see, sounds like a different service then.

So nobody has receieved a text from the club service for a while?

wierdly mine started again yesterday when i got the teams come through and carried on with the goals etc...i use 88442
