Everton were very average. What does that make us?

Out of our last 8 PL games we have lost 5 and drawn 2 against mid table or lower teams. We are in deep, deep, trouble.

Absolutely ****ing useless.

Comically poor defending and completely toothless up front.

Special note for Slimani, Albrighton and the two center backs for the shittiest of shit performances.

I haven't seen three worse teams. Things are about to get desperate.

A belated Christmas gift of 3 points.

A decent team performance that was badly let down by a few individual performances. Albrighton and Slimani are both well past due a good dropping and our lack of quality and depth in the central defending positions is really dragging us down - literally.

There were positives, but it's getting later and later to be settling for positives over points.

I didn't think we were that bad for most of the game. In fact, I could see us winning it.

But we conceded a silly silly goal and, once again, panicked and lost shape and confidence. Their second was a sucker punch as we pushed up.

Odd how I've gone from thinking our midfield looks OK now and it's upfront we are lacking. I'm disappointed in Slimani today.

Special mention goes out to Chilwell and Gray who picked up deserved starts and performed pretty well and will hopefully start the next match. Also for Ulloa and Amartey - again stood out as putting in good performances.

taking off your best attacking player when losing is stupid.

Stop pandering to the players by sticking with 442 just because its the system they want its not bloody working, Claudio needs to rediscover his ruthless streak fast

Lets not over react. We were missing Vardy, Fuchs, Huth and Drinkwater for most of today.

Desperate springs to mind!

Chilwell won't play again until the FA Cup, Fuchs will be back despite how well Chilwell played today, Gray probably won't start either despite doing more today than Mahrez has done in weeks

I assume that the selection reflected a need for rotation with a couple of games coming up shortly. But it looked like a losing team before the kick off. The selection of Wasl set the tone and didn't make sense. I've never thought that Slimani was significantly better than Ulloa. What a rip off! Albrighton has regressed back to his Villa days when he couldn't get into a shocking team.
The owners are getting badly let down. Who is going to want to sign for us?

Over to you Claudio.

We can only hope that Bradley and Phelan don't get sacked and that Defoe doesn't go on a goalscoring run. Cos by the looks of it we're not going to save ourselves.

Fair to say perhaps that we won't miss Mahrez nor Slimani when they disappear for the whatever cup next month. They've somewhat disappeared already!
