Well, safety assured. Time for playing around with the team sheet or march on to try and secure 8th? I'd still like to see Mahrez in the middle once again and, whatever the reason, Drinkwater needs a rest so:

Schmeichel

Simpson
Huth
Benalouane
Fuchs

Gray
Mahrez
Ndidi
Albrighton

Slimani
Vardy

My only reason for putting Slimani ahead of Okazaki is that we just haven't seen enough of him. If he's fit enough to play the next few games then give him all of them and see what he can add. At least then if a Chinese club come calling for him we will have a better idea of what we would be losing should we choose to let him go.

4-1 Leicester. Hume, Campbell, Sheehan, de Vries.

Will never ever happen though.

imo time to give Gray a start, time to try Armartey at centre back time to give Slimani another start partnering Vardy. These will pack the defence and we may have to be patient but its a probable 3 points 2-0 Slimani Vardy

Schmeichel

Benalouane
Huth
Fuchs

Albrighton
DD
Ndidi
Chilwell

Mahrez

Slimani (if fit)
Vardy

Subs
Zieler
Simpson
Okazaki
Gray
Ulloa or Musa
Lawrence/Barnes/Kapustka
Amartey

I'd be happy with this team. Would prefer Gray gets the start over Mahrez though.

Saw Watford against Liverpool on Sky - wasn't impressed by either side. Watford relied too much on occasional long through ball to Denny and forwards (who were wrongly penalised for being offside a couple times) but Watford stepped up the pressure last 15 minutes to try and get an equaliser . Expect their tactic will be their standard counter attack game or long crosses into the box, so the fact that both Wes and Huth could be out is a concern. Fuchs/Simpson/ Chilwell etc. will need to be on toes to stop the crosses coming in the first place.

PS well done to Selby!

Sounds like us. Where did you hear that Huth may be out?

Hope we play a back 5 with wing backs and attack the shit out of Watford.

Probably from the same place that says Drinkwater has been carrying an injury all season.

Could easily be describing us
