At the end of the day, the club has a certain amount of singers, noisy fans, call them what you like. Simply redistributing them will not add to the overall noise, you still have the same amount of people creating that noise.

First post!
Hello to all.
Just to say I think that N block is a good move - where people who want to support the team can be together. I don't know what everyone else's idea of support is ? Is it just sitting in the ground and applauding if we score ?
Fine if that's your thing, but why be so negative about people who are trying to generate an atmosphere ?
On Saturday, the people around me in the Kop ("Full of Noise" said the original season ticket blurb) couldn't even be bothered with a "Come On Leicester" as we forced a couple of corners. It's the old Chicken and Egg argument - we'll sing if the team are doing well.
I'd consider moving if I didn't have a video camera aimed at my face and stewards keenly looking to throw someone out who stood up for longer than some undefined time period (not applicable to away supporters).
Let's hope that the team responds better in the away games coming up, feeling less pressure than from a silent crowd.

welcome :006: :006: :006:

I kept waking up so didnt sleep well at all. feel like crap now... finish at 3pm

There you go BlockN, I knew if I waited long enough you'd post the evidence you have been asking me to post throughout this thread.

You really are a very stupid person aren't you

Selective quoting can be very misleading. ;)

Give the guy a break, he's not having a go at you, just said his opinion.

No-ones saying that "This is how you should support your team" (Or at least I dont think they are!)
But when some individuals say things like "N block is quiet/crap, couldn't hear them on saturday" ,which from some people is pure balls becasue people in the "kop" can hear us, then it's anoying when we are tyring our best but no-one wants to join in. Sometimes the belittling comments from some on here don't really help at all.
Personally, And I'm not for one minute critisising you or any other fan, but I can't see the point of going to games (espcially during the shit we are in) if your not going to be noisy and get behind your team (Even these clowns!) because I can't see the difference a non-noisy supporter makes to the club...they might as well send a plastic figurine of themselves and send a cheque to the club with how much they are going to spend during that day - It would make no difference to the club!

You seem more interested in the fans than you do the team:icon_conf

Well you came to the conclusion on yourself at the end, the club is more bothered about money than noise. Their plan must have been to get some of the disillusioned souls of football back in the day at the ground in a nice, small area. When they make any kind of action which is against regulation, ban and escort him from the ground, haha we still have your dough from which you paid you're ticket/season ticket.

why is it that teams in Italy are playing in empty stadia, which will be deathly quiet, and they still seem to put a game on?

Just bought 4 tickets in the N block for tonights game. The women serving me looked instantly at me like i was a criminal, wanted names, addresses and date of birth for all 4 people having a ticket, was warned that the police will be watching everyone in there and to behave myself! :119:

I beg to differ!
People are more likely to sing if the majority of those around them are likely to join in. Where I sit in the ground it is more like a library sometimes, and so my efforts at vocal support appear to be wasted, and I keep quiet after a while like everyone else.
By placing all us "rowdies" together, more noise is acually generated.
This can be seen at most away matches.
Let hope for some noise tonight against Brum and some points!

Trouble is though, you're not placing them all together. you're dividing them even further. Pre N Block, they were split between the Kop and L1, now they are split between the Kop, L1 and N-Block.

But if you put them all in one area then surely the noise created would be louder?

well why dont you move to L1?

Becasue it had a bad reputation i.e "Their all chavs"
We wanted a fresh start and an area for people who actually care about the team to go - But the club seem certain on ruining it.

Exactly, so why was N Block created, surely no-one was niaive enough to think that all of the noise makers from L1 and the Kop would move there.

So L1 fans don't care about the team, then :icon_roll

And presumably everyone else that go week in week out and sit elsewhere ?
