Right, some questions;

Do we persist with 3 CBs?
Does Fofana start?
Is Praet fit?
If so does he start ahead of Maddison?
Under debut?
Will we move Castagne to the left side?
Is the plan to play him or Ricardo on the left?

I’d pick:

Kasper

Castagne
Söyüncü
Evans
Justin

Mendy
Tielemans
Praet (if fit, Maddison a fine option)

Under
Barnes
Vardy

That said I suspect we will play a back 5, with a debut for Fofana. I also think Maddison will be shoehorned into the side.

Maddison has to start if fit. He is the creative link we need. Keeping him benched if he's available would be utter madness.

Praet was quite the creative link this season before his injury. He set up the first goal against West Brom and scored a cracker against Burnley. And generally has played very well. If fit, he deserves to start.

I’d go with that too.

He has played well, of that there is no doubt but he did have some very, very quiet first half performances. He has been much better than we have seen him in the past though. However, if it is a straight choice between playing Praet or Maddison (and it may not be of course) then Maddison is a far, far better option.

Based on the stats for Praet this season vs Madders last season... why?

what about Madders the previous season? Madders has the creativity to find the pass to unlock a tight back 4, Praet I don't think does
Exactly. Maddison is so underestimated and undervalued on here by some, it's unreal!

Except he has already done that this season
