Because I’ve watched, coached and played thousands of hours of football and you’re dismissing my observation completely out of hand. You do it to people all the time. It’s unbecoming.
In this specific instance Evans has definitely 100% been asked to function as a left back for much of this match, and it’s a stupid tactic. The heat map Jeff shares only illustrates the point.
