If Defoe is out they are well and truly in the shit...
I agree but there is one major difference in this Sunderland team. David Moyes is ****ing useless.Keep the same side, barring injuries or anyone in dire need of a rest (Simpson, Shinji, Drinky maybe).
But keep the same side, keep the momentum.
Have to be careful to not get overly confident with this one - Sunderland have escaped enough times before from looking dead and buried.
If there's no Defoe we have at least a point from a 0-0... and hopefully no Defoe!
I was thinking the same thing!!These tickets for 'the away end' which are available on lcfcDirect - presumably they are tickets that Sunderland didn't take and are now on sale to home fans? Otherwise I need to learn to talk like a Mackem pretty quickly!

I was looking for tickets a mate and couldn't work out why they were there.
The description of away section or whatever on the website did concern though
Last game I saw with my old dad - Heskey scored but it was rather overlooked by the Collymore hattrickThe 5-2 was just before Heskey decided that Liverpool was the future.
I took my father in law to that game, as he's a Sunderland fanLast game I saw with my old dad - Heskey scored but it was rather overlooked by the Collymore hattrick
Yes - I'll take another 5-2, even if Kasper mght be a bit miffed at conceeding two !
COYB!
Their fans aren't exactly confident.....

Not hard for somebody with 'smoggy' roots surely?!These tickets for 'the away end' which are available on lcfcDirect - presumably they are tickets that Sunderland didn't take and are now on sale to home fans? Otherwise I need to learn to talk like a Mackem pretty quickly!
40 minute halves in north-east football?
For footballing reasons I agree.
For his comment........ he wasn't serious and the journalist didn't complain. It was a jocular comment that in this PC age was always going to be picked up on and taken out of context.
