That is exactly right. Failing to qualify for the CL this season is very different to last season. We didn't collapse like last year, the whole season has been full of some really shitty results which have now come back to haunt us.

Indeed it is. I can only remember enjoying watching a few games in my time and they are invariably when we are 4-0 up at half time

I think that’s where I’m at. I’ll be a bit disappointed to miss out on top 4, but given the way we felt last weekend, I couldn’t describe this season as a failure if we stay where we are. I’m expecting nothing, so anything more than that would be a bonus.

I'm not even sure I'm going to watch one game! I hate our games against Spurs and I'm scarred from 2017. I'm more optimistic this time around; 2017 was an injury hit team (so a hiding was on the cards) and Spurs are a bit crap at the moment. I do not, however, ever underestimate our ability to be complete cak.
